NEW STUDENTS/FIRST TIME AUDITIONS:

THE AUDITION DATE FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON will take place August 25, 2025 at O DiBella Music in Bergenfield. Call or text 201-390-6465 to arrange an audition time slot. There is a $50 fee for the in person auditions. You will be sent an invoice after the audition. If there are any questions, call 201-390-6465

VIDEO AUDITIONS: If you are unable to make the August 25, 2025 date, call or text 201-390-6465 and we will contact you to arrange a video audition. There is a $25 up-charge fee for video auditions. Total fee is $75 for Video auditions. You will be sent an invoice after the audition.

NOTE: WE CAN ACCEPT AUDITIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. Call or text 201-390-6465 and we will contact you to arrange a video audition.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

2 Scales of your choosing and

2 Short pieces (or 2 sections) 1 fast section that shows technical ability and 1 slow section that shows tone quality and expression

RETURNING STUDENTS: Registration takes place in June.  Seating will take place at the second rehearsal of the season. ALL RETURNING STUDENTS MUST REGISTER EVERY YEAR.   We need to keep contact information current for our database

STUDENTS WISHING TO ADVANCE from the Philharmonia to the Symphony will need to re-audition on August 25, 2025. Notify us at carnibucci@yahoo.com or 201-390-6465. We will send you the required materials and contact you for an audition.

Each student who wishes to join in the Bergen Youth Orchestras program is required to audition. (see the suggested requirements listed under each orchestral level).
