Encourage your child to practice on a daily basis. It is strongly recommended that each child work with a private teacher.<\/p>\n<p>As an orchestra parent you are invited to become a member of the auxiliary &#8211; <em>The Friends of Bergen Youth Orchestra.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Auxiliary members may be asked to lend a helping hand when assistance is needed for mailings, refreshments, ushering, etc.<\/p>\n<h5>Auxiliary efforts may include:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Selling tickets to concerts<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the fund-raising activities<\/li>\n<li>Lending a helping hand for rehearsals and concerts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]<div class=\"sc_line sc_line_position_center_center sc_line_style_solid\" style=\"border-top-style:solid;\"><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] If you are an Orchestra Parent\u2026 You are expected to help your musician arrive at rehearsals promptly (10 to 15 minutes ahead of scheduled time).
